2023 kicked off hectic with an exceptional run of shows through February, highlighted by a support slot for The Rubens in Kalgoorlie. Recording quickly followed Matt, Kyron and Joe back in the studio with Andy Lawson to generate three super fun tracks mid-March. Grand Casual were thrust out of Winter Hibernation winning the WAM best Regional Act for the second year running early November. A perfect pre cursor to a Summer of live shows and single releases, capped off by a return to their favourite WA event Nannup Music Festival March 1-4 2024.
Things are really heating up, weve spent a fair old amount of time in the rehearsal room building up to an early December run of shows, Gatsbys Manjimup Dec 8th, Firestation Busselton Dec 9th and Clancy's Dunsborough Dec 10th. Pumped to be joined by Kris Nelson in Manjimup and Sunday Lemonade in Dunsborough.
Has been a solid break between shows with our last in June I believe, super bloody excited and rolling in with a good piece of momentum following our recent second year running WAM Best Regional Act Award. Bloody stoked. Summer is packed full with a run of shows early Jan followed by There Goes The Sun, and a steady buildup to releasing new music. Watch this space.
